i m not a transformers fan. i've watched the cartoon when i was young, but i was into it like i was with TMNT. however, the movie had a good modern day twist of the US / war for dominance element. i also like movies that defy reality, like jurassic park, independence day, back to the future, etc, and this movie was definitely one of them. sam witwicky was not a good-looking, tall, muscular kind of character, but he did prove himself worthy of being a man. in the end, he did get megan fox, so i gotta give it to him. as for the robots, although optimus prime was the leader who fought against the decepticons, i gotta give it up for bumblebee. how cool is it to have your camaro transform into a fighting robot. another great one by stephen spielberg and michael bay! i give it a 4.5/5.
